Peyote (Lophophora williamsii var. caespitosa) is a small spineless cactus that contains the psychedelic compound mescaline. Native to Southern Texas and Northern Mexico, these sacred cacti have been used by the indigenous peoples of North America in religious ceremonies for thousands of years.

• Low Maintenance: Peyote cacti are easy to care for, needing minimal light and capable of enduring long periods without water.
• Clustering Variety: This variety of Peyote multiplies, producing new heads as it grows. Once mature, the heads will produce pretty pink flowers. These flowers yield small berries containing seeds.
• Legal Cultivation in Canada: Despite their psychoactive properties, Peyote cacti are completely legal to own and cultivate in Canada.
• Age and Size: These cacti are approximately eight months old, about the size of a nickel, and are shipped bare root.
