Peyote Seeds (Lophophora williamsii)

Peyote (Lophophora williamsii) is a small spineless cactus that contains the psychedelic compound mescaline. Native to Southern Texas and Northern Mexico, these sacred cacti have been used by the indigenous peoples of North America in religious ceremonies for at least 5000 years.

Details:

• Unique Growth: Lophophora williamsii typically produces a single head. The seeds will sometimes devolve into cacti with two heads, but this is rare. Even more rare are genetic mutations such as cresting and variegation. Older cacti may put out a new head or two, but this comes with age. Once mature they produce pretty pink flowers. These flowers yield small berries containing new seeds.
