The San Pedro (Trichocereus pachanoi) is a large, columnar growing cactus that contains the psychedelic compound mescaline. Native to Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, these sacred cacti have been used by the Indigenous peoples of South America in religious ceremonies for thousands of years.  

 

Details:

  • Fast Growing: The San Pedro is a fast growing cactus, capable of reaching 3-6 meters tall in the wild.
  • Appearance: San Pedro are light to dark green in color and grow 6-8 rounded ribs. They have short needles and produce large, fragrant white flowers one mature.
  • Legal Cultivation: Despite their psychoactive properties, San Pedro cacti are legal to cultivate in both Canada and the USA.
  • True San Pedro: These are true Trichocereus pachanoi seedlings and never the more common PC pachanoi variety. 
  • Bare Root Shipping: Our cactus seedlings are shipped bare root.
