The Peruvian Torch (Trichocereus peruviana) is a large, columnar growing cactus that contains the psychedelic compound mescaline. Native to the western slopes of the Andes in Peru, these sacred cacti have been used by the indigenous peoples of the Andean regions in religious ceremonies for thousand of years.

- Appearance: Bluish-green in color, it has 6-9 rounded ribs, long needles, and produces large, fragrant white flowers once mature.
