Lophophora Williamsii var. Caespitosa is a clustering variety of peyote, meaning it will multiply and produce multiple heads as it grows. It is a small spineless cactus that contains the psychoactive alkaloid mescaline. The peyote cactus has been used by indigenous people in religious ceremonies for over 5000 years. Once mature the heads will produce pretty pink flowers. The flowers will then produce little berries that contain seeds. These cacti are grown from seed and are around eight months old. They are around the size of a nickel and are shipped bare root. Please be advised that the number of pups per cactus varies widely and that the one in the photo is only an example. Not all cacti of this age have pups but they will eventually pup as they grow. We recommend using our Cactus Potting Kit for best results. Awesome Quality

I ordered 30 seeds and 3 cacti. It was all shipped quickly and arrived safely. The 3 peyote buttons arrived in great shape, dark green, firm and with healthy roots. I planted them all into a large pot and they're doing great on my window sill. Highly recommend.

Great attention to detail

Missed delivery, but picked up from the post office next day after work. Still moist and the cacti was firm and deep green 🤯👍 Kudos 👌 I guess express post is a big part of it, but never expected to get live bare root plants through the mail 🤯 Have a horticulturist helping me out with it too. TLDR: Very healthy on arrival.
